Transformer moisture absorber generally use glass tube as the shell, can directly observe the internal silica gel color change and moisture absorption, convenient operation and maintenance personnel in daily inspection to quickly determine whether the moisture absorber is working properly, and whether the silica gel needs to be replaced.

The lower part is equipped with an oil cup, in which a certain amount of transformer oil is added to form an oil seal. The oil seal can isolate the silica gel from the atmosphere, and only the air filtered by the oil can enter the silica gel layer, which reduces the intrusion of external impurities and moisture, and prolongs the service life of the silica gel.
