1、 Conductive rod: the core conductive component of transformer bushing

Definition and Function:

  The conductive rod is the core conductive component of the transformer bushing, mainly used to connect the transformer coil lead wire with the external high-voltage line. Its installation position is usually located at the top of the transformer, ensuring smooth current transmission through precise design, and is a key hub for achieving electrical connection between the internal electromagnetic energy of the transformer and the external power grid.

Working principle and importance:

  As the "main road" for current transmission, conductive rods need to have high conductivity (usually made of metal materials such as copper or aluminum) to reduce resistance losses.

Its structural design needs to balance mechanical strength and insulation performance to ensure stable operation in high voltage environments and avoid connection failure caused by heating or mechanical vibration.

Extended knowledge:

  The cross-sectional specifications and length of the conductive rod need to be customized according to the transformer capacity and voltage level. For example, the diameter of the conductive rod of a 110kV transformer is usually larger than that of a 10kV transformer to carry larger currents and withstand higher voltages.

2、 Terminal block: auxiliary accessory for external connection of conduit

  Definition and Function: Terminal blocks belong to the category of electrical connectors, used to facilitate the connection and disconnection of transformer bushings and external wires. Its core function is to simplify installation and maintenance: through standardized interfaces, it is convenient for wires to be quickly connected or disassembled without the need for complex welding processes;Support batch interconnection: Multiple wires can be connected simultaneously to meet the complexity requirements of power grid wiring;

  Ensure electrical reliability: Ensure low contact resistance and sufficient current carrying capacity through contact design (such as bolt crimping, plug-in structure).

  Summary: The conductive rod and the terminal block respectively undertake the functions of "core conductivity" and "external interconnection" of the transformer bushing. The performance matching and installation quality of the two directly affect the safe operation of the transformer, and should be a key inspection object in power system maintenance.
