Brass pressure relief valve

When a fault occurs inside the transformer, such as a short circuit, overheating, etc., it will cause the transformer oil to decompose and produce a large amount of gas, resulting in a sharp rise in pressure inside the tank. When the pressure reaches the opening pressure of the pressure relief valve, the pressure relief valve opens quickly within 2ms, so that the oil and gas in the tank are discharged, thus reducing the pressure in the tank. When the pressure drops to the closing pressure value, the pressure release valve closes reliably, so that the transformer tank always maintains a positive pressure, effectively preventing the external air, water and other impurities from entering the tank.

The pressure release valve is mainly composed of spring, signal rod, junction box, rubber pad, pressure diaphragm disk, oil injection port, microswitch and other parts.
