Iron Core

Good Property Better Permeable Used For Oil-immersed Transformer And Dry Type Transformer Iron

Core faults are relatively common faults in oil-immersed transformers. It mainly focuses on the following two aspects. When an oil-immersed transformer overheats and makes a crisp sound during operation, the core part overheats, characteristic gases appear, and intermittent discharge occurs inside the transformer. The failure is mainly caused by the following factors:

(1) The core lamination is not tightened or the fastening bolt is twisted and skewed, resulting in short circuit and overheating of the core part. For this failure, it is necessary to loosen the clamp, straighten the lamination at the looseness, and then tighten it. Align the fastening bolts, add insulating sleeves and pads, and tighten the nuts.

 (2) The nut on the through center screw is loose, and the stacks at the upper and lower ends of the yoke and side posts are dented. For this fault, the through-core screws and clips need to be removed, the windings removed, and the core needs to be fully inspected.

 (3) The burr of the lamination is large, which leads to the local short circuit of the lamination and the eddy current, resulting in the local overheating of the iron core.
