Installation method of transformer moisture absorber

When installing the transformer moisture absorber, first remove the sealing baffle and gasket on the connecting pipe between the transformer oil conservator and the moisture absorber, replace the sealing ring, and then install the moisture absorber;

Then unscrew the oil cup at the bottom of the moisture absorber, remove the lower sealing gasket, and add 1/3 of qualified transformer oil to the oil cup before screwing it in

Just put it on the moisture absorber. If the transformer has already installed the moisture absorber before leaving the factory, only the oil cup under the moisture absorber needs to be unloaded before the installation project is completed

Open, remove the sealing gasket, add 1/3 of qualified transformer oil to the oil cup, and then install it (without having to install it too tightly).

When replacing silicone, attention should be paid to the following aspects:

(1) The replacement of silicone should be carried out in sunny weather and attention should be paid to maintaining a safe distance from the live parts.

(2) The appropriate amount of silicone should be two-thirds of the volume of the respirator.

(3) The replaced silicone can be stir fried, heated, and dried with a large spoon, and can be reused to reduce operating costs.

(4) When applying, replace the oil in the oil cup and add a sufficient amount of qualified new oil.

(5) The heavy gas protection should be switched to a signal

(6) When removing the respirator, the connecting pipe should be blocked to prevent the recovery of air

(7) After replacing with dry silicone, the oil inside the oil seal should be allowed to flow through the exhalation nozzle and the respirator should be sealed.

In daily inspection, attention should be paid to observing the color changes of silicone inside the respirator, especially during the rainy season, when the air humidity is high, and silicone

The deliquescence rate of silicone is accelerated, and after the silicone changes color, it should be replaced in a timely manner. The oil cup under the respirator should be installed with moderate tightness. Spin too tight, breathe
