  • working principle

  The principle of balance between spring force and pressure: The core working principle of a pressure relief valve is based on the balance between spring force and medium pressure. When the pressure inside the system exceeds the set value, the medium pressure acting on the valve disc overcomes the elastic force of the spring, causing the valve disc to open. The medium in the system is released to the external environment or low-pressure area through the valve, thereby reducing the system pressure; When the system pressure drops back to the set rebound pressure value, the spring force re presses the valve disc, causing the valve to close and the system to resume normal operation.

  Pressure sensing and regulation mechanism: The pressure relief valve senses pressure changes in the system through sensing diaphragms or other pressure sensors. When the internal pressure of the system increases, the pressure sensor transmits the pressure signal to the control mechanism of the valve, triggering the valve to open and release excess pressure. During the pressure release process, the speed and amount of pressure release can be precisely controlled by adjusting the opening and closing degree of the valve, in order to achieve stable regulation of system pressure.

  In the power industry, it is mainly used for equipment such as transformers. When there is a fault inside the transformer, such as short circuit, overheating, etc., which leads to the decomposition of oil and the production of a large amount of gas, causing the pressure in the oil tank to rise sharply, the pressure relief valve opens in a timely manner to discharge some of the transformer oil, reduce the pressure in the oil tank, and protect the transformer oil tank from damage.

  Petrochemical industry: widely used in chemical reactors, pipelines, storage tanks and other equipment to prevent excessive system pressure caused by uncontrolled chemical reactions, pipeline blockages, temperature changes and other reasons, and to avoid accidents such as hazardous chemical leaks and equipment ruptures.

  Water treatment system: commonly used in water supply pipelines, pump systems, etc., to prevent damage to pipelines or equipment caused by sudden pressure increases, such as pump start stop, pipeline water hammer effects, etc.

  Aerospace field: Used for hydraulic systems, fuel systems, etc. in aircraft to ensure that the system maintains a safe working pressure during flight, preventing system failure or component damage caused by abnormal pressure.
