Copper foil

Copper foil is a way to convert the leakage magnetic field and absorption of a transformer into short-circuit current, in order to avoid interference with surrounding components.

Copper foil will be used on high current windings. In this type of transformer, due to the need for high current windings, if copper wire is used, it will be difficult to wire due to the large size of the copper wire, and there will be a convergence effect. In this case, copper foil will be used as a substitute, and leads must be soldered at both ends of the copper foil.
