Aluminum foil is a hot stamping material that is directly rolled into thin sheets using metallic aluminum. Its hot stamping effect is similar to that of pure silver foil, so it is also known as fake silver foil. Due to its soft texture and good ductility, aluminum has a silver white luster.

1、 Selection of aluminum foil material

When selecting aluminum foil for transformers, the material of the aluminum foil is an important consideration. Generally speaking, the material of aluminum foil should be high purity, moderate hardness, corrosion resistance, and good conductivity. For example, common aluminum foil materials include A1050, A1060, A1070, etc. These materials have a purity of over 99%, and also have high corrosion resistance and conductivity, making them a suitable choice for transformer aluminum foil materials.

2、 Selection of aluminum foil size

When selecting transformer aluminum foil, the size of the aluminum foil is also one of the factors that needs to be considered. Generally speaking, the size of aluminum foil should match the number of turns and size of the transformer. If the size of the aluminum foil is too small, it is easy to increase the loss of the transformer; If the size of the aluminum foil is too large, it may cause the volume of the transformer to increase, resulting in an increase in production costs.
