     Silicon steel sheet for electrical use is commonly known as silicon steel sheet or silicon steel sheet. It is a soft magnetic alloy of ferrosilicon with very low carbon content, generally with a silicon content of 0.5~4.5%, which is made by hot and cold rolling. Generally, the thickness is less than 1mm, so it is called thin plate. The addition of silicon increases the resistivity and maximum permeability of iron, reducing coercivity, core loss (iron loss) and magnetic aging. It is mainly used to make the cores of various transformers, motors and generators.
