Highly Resistive Low Iron loss Cold Oriented Silicon Steel With Small Hysteresis CRGO

In 1900, Hadfield reported that iron-silicon alloys with a silicon content of 2.5%~5.5% had higher magnetism than iron.vn 1903, the production of hot-rolled silicon steel sheets began. In 1934, Goss developed cold-rolled oriented silicon steel, which significantly improved the magnetic properties along the rolling direction of the steel plate, which was suitable for making transformers. In the early 60s, the United States began to mass-produce low-carbon electrical steel with a silicon content of <0.5%.

At the end of the 60s, some countries stopped producing hot-rolled silicon steel. In 1968, Nippon Steel Corporation of Japan developed and produced high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel. In the mid-70s, Japan successively developed several new grades of oriented silicon steel, non-oriented silicon steel and low-carbon electrical steel. In 1986, Nippon Steel Pipe Company produced a high-silicon steel product with a silicon content of 6.5%. China produced hot-rolled silicon steel in 1954, cold-rolled oriented silicon steel thin strip in 1959, and cold-rolled oriented and non-oriented silicon steel in 1979.
