ANSI TRANSFORMER BUSHING

The following is an introduction to the American standard bushing for transformers:

-ANSI standards: Relevant standards developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) that specify the dimensions, performance, testing methods, and other aspects of transformer bushings.

-IEEE standards: Standards developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), such as IEEE C57.19.00/C57.19.01, are widely used in North America, specifying test requirements, insulation levels, etc. for transformer bushings.

Material and Structure

-Material: High quality ceramics or composite materials are usually used, which have excellent electrical insulation properties and mechanical strength. Metal accessories such as flanges and terminals are generally made of high-grade metals such as aluminum or copper.

-Structure: including wiring board, lead connector, rain cover, upper porcelain sleeve, lower porcelain sleeve and other components. The multi-layer cylindrical capacitor core composed of oil impregnated cable paper and aluminum foil pressure equalization electrodes serves as the main insulation, while the ceramic component serves as the external insulation and container for transformer oil.

-Good insulation performance: able to withstand high voltage, ensuring reliable insulation between the internal winding of the transformer and the external circuit, reducing the risk of leakage and short circuit.

-High mechanical strength: capable of withstanding mechanical stresses such as vibration and electromagnetic forces during transformer operation, as well as external impacts during transportation and installation.

-Strong thermal stability: It can maintain stable performance during changes in transformer load and environmental temperature, effectively dissipate heat, and prevent overheating damage.

 

Production and Quality Control

-Production process: including material selection, molding, glazing, installation of metal accessories, and other steps. After molding, careful drying and glazing treatment can enhance electrical and mechanical properties. Metal accessories are connected to ceramic bodies through specialized adhesives or mechanical fastening methods.

-Quality control: Strict quality control measures are implemented throughout the entire production process, including inspections of dimensional accuracy, surface smoothness, and comprehensive electrical testing of finished products, such as dielectric strength testing, partial discharge measurement, and insulation resistance testing.

-Power transformer: used to connect the winding leads of the transformer with external transmission lines, achieving the transmission and distribution of electrical energy.

-Switchgear: As an insulating and conductive component in high-voltage switches, distribution cabinets, and other equipment, it ensures the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
