Laser Silicon Steel VS. Non-laser Silicon Steel

Scoring can reduce iron loss, so the raw material coil grade requirements are lower, which is conducive to reducing raw material costs.


Nowadays, with upgraded equipment and advanced technology, the surface of scored can be similar to that of non-scored.


Silicon steel scoring and non-scoring can be annealed. Scored silicon steel raw materials, after cold rolling, iron loss of 120w/kg 130w/kg, after laser, iron loss will be reduced to 100-115W/KG, iron loss will be better; if the production of iron cores, the need for annealing, iron loss will rise again, up to 120W/KG, or a little higher.


Non-marking silicon steel raw material after cold rolling, iron loss is 120w/kg, non-laser, iron loss will remain 120w/kg. if the production of iron core, need to anneal, iron loss will also remain 120w/kg.


therefore, if it is non-marking, silicon steel raw material need to meet the iron loss standard; iron loss should be not less than 120w/kg.
