TYPE:
Cold-rolled silicon steel sheets are divided into two types of steel strips: grain-oriented and grain-oriented. In general, grain-oriented cold-rolled strip is used as the core of motors or welding transformers, etc., and grain-oriented cold-rolled strip is used as the core of power transformers, pulse transformers, magnetic amplifiers, etc. Cold rolled oriented thin silicon steel strip is made of 0.30 or 0.35mm thick oriented silicon steel strip and then pickled, cold-rolled and annealed. The cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel sheet is hot rolled into a strip coil with a thickness of about 2.3mm from billet or continuous casting billet. Cold-rolled silicon steel strip has the characteristics of flat surface, uniform thickness, high stacking coefficient and good punching ability, and has higher magnetic inductance and lower iron loss than hot-rolled silicon steel strip. Using cold strip instead of hot rolled strip to manufacture motors or transformers can reduce their weight and volume by 0%-25%. If the cold-rolled oriented strip is used, the performance is better, and it can be used instead of hot-rolled strip or low-grade cold-rolled strip, which can reduce the power consumption of the transformer by 45%-50%, and the working performance of the transformer is more reliable.
FEATURES:
The (110) side of the crystal is parallel to the plane of the steel strip, and the easily magnetized < 001 > shaft is parallel to the rolling direction. Oriented silicon steel has a silicon content of about 3% and requires a low oxide inclusion content in the steel, as well as some kind of inhibitor (MnS, A1N). The magnetism of oriented silicon steel has strong directionality, and the iron loss value is the lowest, the magnetic permeability is the highest, and the magnetic inductance value is high under a certain magnetizing field.
PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Oriented electrical steel: ore --- ironmaking--- steelmaking--- hot-rolled---pickling-cold-rolled---annealed---cold-rolled silicon steel (oriented electrical steel).
Cold-rolled coils: ore--- iron-making--- steel-making--- hot-rolled--- pickling-cold-rolled--- annealed--- cold-rolled coils.
The key to producing silicon steel with a Gaussian texture is to utilize secondary recrystallization. In order to achieve secondary recrystallization, it is usually necessary to add normal grain growth inhibitors such as MnS to the alloy. The grain growth inhibitor must be able to be diffusely distributed in the alloy matrix in the form of hybridization, which can effectively prevent the normal growth of the matrix crystal pull when the secondary recrystallization occurs, and at the same time, it is required to be easily eliminated in the final high-temperature annealing, so as not to deteriorate the magnetic properties of the product. In secondary recrystallization, the oriented nucleus of secondary grain growth is mainly produced by appropriate cold rolling process and recrystallization annealing. Since phase transitions disrupt grain orientation, it is critical to maintain a single phase during heat treatment.
Cold-rolled electrical silicon steel sheet, divided into oriented silicon steel sheet, non-oriented silicon steel sheet and DW material. The common thickness of cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel sheet for motor is 0.35 and 0.50mm, and their silicon content is generally low, while the common thickness of cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheet for transformer is 0.20, 0.30, 0.35 and 0.50mm, and their silicon content is generally high.
