Classification of Iron Core

According to the material classification is divided into: ① silicon steel core: has good magnetic conductivity and low loss characteristics, is widely used in various specifications of the transformer, but in the field of high frequency application is somewhat limited.

② amorphous alloy core: made of amorphous alloy strip, with very low hysteresis loss and iron loss, excellent magnetic conductivity and high frequency characteristics, can significantly improve the efficiency of the transformer, commonly used in high power transformers.

Silicon steel core is also divided into: ① stacked iron core ② flat rolled iron core ③ 3D three-dimensional rolled iron core.
