The oil drain valve

The oil drain valve is mainly used to control the oil level inside the transformer. In case of abnormal situations, the oil inside the transformer can be quickly drained using the oil drain valve to protect the safety of the transformer and power system. The oil drain valve is used to discharge waste grease or transformer oil, and its operation is generally to open the valve to allow the grease or transformer oil to flow out naturally.

Usage: The oil drain valve is used on the transformer oil tank to open and close the oil circuit. In the valve series, our company also designed dual-purpose valves according to the actual needs of transformer manufacturers. This type of valve is installed at the bottom of the transformer for oil injection, oil discharge, and oil sampling.

Instructions for use:

1. Working temperature: -35 ℃~105 ℃;

2. Sealing performance: withstand air pressure of 0.5MPa, no leakage for 10 minutes;

3. Vacuum strength: At a pressure of 32KPa, the leakage rate within 10 minutes is less than 1.33PaLls;

4. Installation: The arrow direction should point towards the direction of transformer oil discharge;

5. Operation: Turn the handwheel to the right to close the valve; Turn left to open.
