Transformer butterfly valve

Butterfly valve is installed at the flange connection between the oil tank (or pipeline) of the oil immersed transformer product and the detachable components, used to open or block the transformer oil circuit. It can also be used as a valve for emergency oil discharge or maintenance oil discharge. Butterfly valve is one of the components used in transformers for many years. It has the characteristics of simple structure, flexible switching, wide application, and low price, and has always been popular among transformer manufacturers. However, due to the sealing requirements of the transformer, the butterfly valve cover plate must be covered when vacuum oiling and sealing the end of the pipeline. Butterfly valves should have limiting measures to ensure tight closure, and valve plates should have locking measures when in the open and closed positions. The exposed part of the valve stem should be protected against rainwater, dust, impurities, and other protective measures, and there should be necessary temporary emergency leak prevention design. The sealing performance between the valve stem and valve body should be reliable, and the valve stem should rotate flexibly without any jamming phenomenon
