Oil circuit connection and flow regulation: Installed at the flange connections between the oil tank, cooler (radiator), oil pump, and oil reservoir, it controls the flow and cutoff of transformer oil by rotating the valve plate to meet cooling requirements under varying loads and stabilize oil temperature.
Cooling System Adaptive Control: During normal operation, it remains fully open to ensure oil circulation and heat dissipation. It allows individual or grouped shutdown of radiator branches, facilitating adjustment of cooling capacity or isolation of faulty branches to prevent complete shutdown of the cooling system.
Transportation and Installation Sealing Protection: Close during factory transportation to prevent transformer oil leakage from the tank and block air and moisture ingress, safeguarding the insulation oil quality; open after on-site radiator installation to ensure safe oil filling and circulation.
Maintenance and Emergency Isolation: When repairing radiators, oil pumps, or pipelines, closing the butterfly valve can quickly cut off the oil supply, preventing excessive oil discharge, reducing downtime, and lowering maintenance costs. In case of accidents, it enables emergency isolation of leakage points to minimize oil loss and safety risks.
Oil Drainage and Vacuum Filling Assistance: Some models can serve as drainage ports for maintenance or emergency oil drainage, working in conjunction with vacuum filling processes to ensure vacuum levels and sealing effectiveness in the oil circuit system, thereby enhancing insulation performance.
